Fabian is Assistant Research Professor at the University of Cambridge. His research addresses the modeling of single-atom alloy catalysts using quantum chemical approaches including machine learning potentials and quantum Monte Carlo simulations.

Elisa Borfecchia – University of Turin (Italy)

Elisa is Associate Professor at the University of Turin. Her expertise lies in the characterization of heterogeneous catalysts using X-ray absorption spectroscopies, and has extensive experience in the use of synchrotron radiation facilities.

 

Mario Chiesa – University of Turin (Italy)

Mario is Full Professor at the University of Turin. His research focuses on electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy applied to the study of catalytic materials, including the investigation of spin states in single-atom catalysts.

 

Paolo Fornasiero – University of Trieste (Italy)

Paolo is Full Professor at the University of Trieste. His research concerns the synthesis and application of advanced nanostructured catalytic materials for photo-, electro-, and thermal catalysis.

 

Felipe Gándara – Material Science Institute of Madrid (Spain)

Felipe is a Staff Scientist at the Institute of Materials Sciences (ICMM-CSIC) in Madrid. He leads research in reticular chemistry and porous materials, with a focus on the design, synthesis, and structural analysis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent-organic frameworks (COFs).

Manoj Gawande – Institute of Chemica Technology Mumbai (India)

Manoj is a Professor at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai. His research focuses on the development of heterogeneous catalysts and nanomaterials for green and sustainable chemistry, with emphasis on scalable synthesis and practical catalytic applications.

Núria López – Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (Spain) 

Nuria is Professor at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia. Her research is centered on theoretical and computational catalysis, with contributions to the understanding of catalytic mechanisms, including those based on single-atom catalysts.

Michele Parrinello – Italian Institute of Technology (Italy)

Michele is Scientist at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. His research has focused on the development of atomistic simulation methods, including foundational contributions to molecular dynamics. In recent years, his work has expanded to machine-learning potentials applied to catalysis and materials science.

Javier Pérez-Ramírez – ETH Zurich (Switzerland)

Javier is Full Professor of Catalysis Engineering at ETH Zurich. His research addresses the design of catalytic materials and process concepts for sustainable chemical and energy production at industrially-relevant scale.

Min Zhang – South China University of Technology (China)

Min is a Professor at the South China University of Technology. He conducts research on the synthesis and functionalization of advanced catalytic materials, with particular focus on structure-activity relationships and their application in organic synthesis.
